A LÍRICA EROSIVA DE ANA CRISTINA CESAR

Abstract

This article proposes a reading of Ana Cristina Cesar’s poetry through the concept of erosion, understood as a simultaneous process of rupture and displacement, articulated with the idea of affection as both desire and transformative force. The study investigates how the lyrical subject emerges in relation to the world and to others, framing lyricism as the expression of the interaction between perception and language, in which imagination serves to dissolve the dichotomies that sustain Western thought. Cesar’s writing is based on fracture – an experience of instability transversing both language and subject – shaping an erosive poetics in which affection acts as a force of disaggregation and recomposition. By privileging sensitivity as a principle of creation and openness to the other, her poetry reaffirms the vitality and reflective power of contemporary lyricism.
