Patrimônio e Memória (Heritage and Memory) is a multidisciplinary academic electronic journal of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", published every six months by the Centro de Documentação e Apoio à Pesquisa (Cedap). Since its launch in 2005, it has published unpublished research on various aspects of cultural and natural heritage, both tangible and intangible. The journal covers issues such as conservation, public policies, human rights and the impact of climate change, as well as exploring traditional and contemporary themes. It accepts contributions from various fields of knowledge, such as anthropology, history, architecture, sociology and more, as long as they are related to heritage and memory. It publishes articles in dossiers, continuous flow and reviews, in Portuguese, English or Spanish, on an annual basis in two volumes. The target audience is mainly university students in the humanities. In keeping with its profile as a scientific journal, it publishes texts in Portuguese and in foreign languages (English and Spanish).
The journal accepts articles and reviews for which the author(s) have a minimum of a master's degree (or a doctorate in progress).
