Abstract

This text approaches the presence of Russian literature in the personal library of the writer João Antônio. The marginálias located in works of the Russian authors allows to verify aspects of the reading of this artistic segment realized by the Brazilian writer among which if they detach written by hand comments of formal orientation, it list of words and underlines. Another important aspect of books of Russian writers who compose the library of the Acervo João Antônio confines it the condition of rare edition depositary that they represent a part of the Brazilian publishing memory. In addition, commentaries are presented on some of the marginálias founds in stories of Tchekhov and Máximo Górki.

Author Biography

Clara Ávila Ornellas, Paulista State University UNESP

Licenciada em Letras, com habilitação em Português/Inglês, (UFMS, 1993), mestrado em Semiótica e Linguística Geral (USP, 1998), doutorado em Literatura Brasileira (USP, 2004), pós-doutorado em Literatura Brasileira (UNESP/Assis, 2008 e 2011) e pós-doutorado em Estudos Comparados de Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa (USP, 2022). Atualmente, é mestranda na subárea de História da Educação (FEUSP). Tem experiência como docente de ensino médio, graduação e pós-graduação, e possui interesse principalmente nos seguintes temas e áreas: literatura brasileira, espaço urbano e literatura, exclusão social, Mikhail Bakhtin, João Antônio, Lima Barreto, Roberto Arlt, Graciliano Ramos, Marques Rebelo, acervo literário, leitura e produção de textos, escrita acadêmica, saberes e aprendizagens à margem social e História da Educação.
