Founding myths in the spiritual power of the Warao from Venezuela

The work presented here is part of the product of extensive research by the author and a group of colleagues, particularly with the warao people fromcommunities in the municipality of Antonio Diaz, Delta Amacuro, Venezuela, with the objective of collecting a series of founding myths from the social actors to try to find if in the end of the first decade of the 21st century, e myths were th still narrated before the members of the village, which provides an approach to how essential orality is for memory reconstruction of this ancestral ethnohistory. In this regard, we used a qualitative-interpretative methodology, semistructured interviews and ethnographic method.
